This photo is of a painting of Two Rivers Park with a piece of drift wood and two rocks I picked up at a construction site at Maumelle, Arkansas in the photo foreground. I have used the photo as a decoupage element on a wood box I decorated for a friend. I think it is neat.

I submitted it to First Lady Ginger Bebee's annual calendar juried competition and to Artist in the Air. Again, wish me luck.

This is a color pencil study of the road leading to the La Romita School of Art in Terni, Italy. I was there in July of 2007. The photo reference was not all that good but had just enough information to develop a color pencil study. I will move on from here to develop a watercolor, then a watercolor/pastel painting. I like it, hope the paintings turn out as good as this study.
